This Privacy Policy describes how QuantDesk, a service operated by Nirav Chotai (sole proprietor), India ("QuantDesk", "we", "us"), handles personal information when you use our options-backtesting platform for Indian F&O. Free-tier users: your saved data is stored securely and encrypted at rest. After roughly 2 hours of inactivity it is hidden from your active session for privacy, but it is not deleted — it is restored automatically when you return and upgrade to a paid plan.
Paid (Pro) users: your account data, saved strategies, and activity history are retained while your subscription is active, so your work persists between sessions. After your access ends, we may retain data for a reasonable period before deletion, and we may keep limited records (such as payment metadata) where required to meet legal, tax, or accounting obligations.
You can also request earlier deletion of your data at any time (see Data deletion requests).
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including transport encryption (HTTPS), access controls, and limiting the data we collect and retain. Payment details are handled by Razorpay under their security standards. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You use the service at your own risk and are responsible for keeping your sign-in account secure.

You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal data at any time by emailing niravchotai.ai@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account. We will process verified deletion requests within a reasonable time, except where we are required to retain certain records (such as payment metadata for tax or accounting purposes). Free-tier data is stored encrypted and is simply hidden after a period of inactivity rather than auto-deleted, but you may request its deletion at any time as above.
QuantDesk is not intended for, and may not be used by, anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
QuantDesk is operated from India, and our service providers may process and store data in India or other jurisdictions. By using the service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in locations that may have data-protection laws different from those in your country. We take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled in accordance with this policy wherever it is processed.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and material changes may be communicated through the service. Your continued use of QuantDesk after the changes take effect indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
