Getting started

  1. Sign in with Google

One tap, no password. Continue with Google opens LiveDesk on your Dashboard.

  2. Six tabs, one desk

Portfolio · Dashboard · Deployed · Create Strategy · My Strategies · Reports. Your browser's Back and Forward move between them too.

  3. Your whole account

Today's P&L across every strategy, open value and the Live-Entered count. P&L is gross; net is labelled incl. charges.

  4. Deployed: what is running

One card per deployment with its legs, P&L and controls. It runs on the server every trading day, even with this page closed.

  5. My Strategies: your library

Every saved strategy, privately, with Deploy, Parameters, Execution and Describe. No limit on how many you keep.

  6. Create Strategy: three ways

68 textbook templates with a live payoff, your Systematic Discretion books, or a custom build by the QuantDesk team.

  7. Reports: your track record

Calendars, equity curve, risk and per-strategy tables, with PDF, CSV and Excel export. Live Auto, Live Offline and Paper stay apart.

  8. Ask LiveDesk

A free helper. Give it the DNO shown on every deployed strategy, or tap a chip.

  9. P&L, positions, orders, log, status

Tap P&L today? and the answer comes from your own live data. A keyword helper, not AI.

Static IP + connect broker

  1. Why a static IP?

Brokers accept API orders only from a static IP registered to you. QuantDesk issues a dedicated one from the Brokers page.

  2. Pick the broker

One IP works with one broker. A second broker needs its own IP.

  3. 1, 3 or 12 months

Pick a period and the price updates. No auto-renew: every purchase is a one-time payment.

  4. Check the price, then Pay

Setup, period and GST are itemised. Pay online inside LiveDesk; this window always shows the live price.

  5. Register the IP, then Add Broker

Register your IP with the broker's API key first. Then + Add Broker: IIFL, Nirmal Bang, Sachdeva (Symphony) or Kotak Neo.

  6. Paste the keys

App Key and Secret Key for IIFL and the other Symphony brokers. Saved secrets are never shown back.

  7. Static IP, exchanges, Save

Your IP is attached automatically. Tick NFO, BFO, MCX or NSE and press Save.

  8. Kotak Neo asks for more

Access Token, MPIN, mobile, client code (UCC), TOTP key and the MCX order quantity: Lots or Units.

  9. Check the broker card

Active means orders go out from your IP. Brokers log in again each morning; ↻ Reactivate is the manual fallback.

  10. Bonus: 3 free paper strategies

A free account runs 1 paper strategy at a time per market. Once your broker connects through its static IP: 3, still free.

Create & deploy a strategy

  1. Type 1: Templates

68 structures (59 options, 9 with a futures leg): Bullish, Bearish, Neutral, Volatile, Calendar, Arbitrage.

  2. Open a template

Each card shows the payoff shape, legs, risk and level. Here, Bull Call Spread.

  3. Instrument, mode and lots

Index or MCX commodity, Intraday or Positional, and 1 to 50 lots per leg.

  4. Read the live payoff

Max profit, max loss, break-evens and probability of profit, recomputed at today's price.

  5. Name it and save

Save as my strategy puts it in My Strategies; the template itself never changes.

  6. Type 2: Systematic Discretion

Your locked Intraday and Positional books per instrument. Customise copy makes a named copy.

  7. Add legs by hand

Side, option type, strike rule, entry and exit per leg. The engine runs each leg's SL, target, trail and re-entry.

  8. Type 3: Custom consultation

Describe your logic in a private chat with the QuantDesk team. Exact quote and deadline; pay only after approval.

  9. Instruments and level

Pick instruments and a level. The finished strategy is delivered to your My Strategies.

  10. Your saved strategy

Parameters edits settings, Execution sets how orders are worked, Describe explains the logic.

  11. Edit the stop-loss, Save

Running deployments keep their snapshot; edits apply from the next deploy.

  12. Describe

The plain-English logic is rewritten instantly from the new parameters.

  13. Deploy: Paper first

Paper Trading runs the full engine on live prices with simulated fills. Nothing reaches a broker. Free.

  14. Live Auto: real broker orders

Pick the broker; the red warning says so plainly. Live needs a plan for that market. Live Offline mutes broker orders.

  15. Deploy · LIVE (IIFL)

The button names what will happen. No second confirmation; LiveDesk then opens Deployed.

Watch your deployed strategies & orders

  1. Today at a glance

P&L Today (gross; net incl. charges on hover), overall P&L, premium sold, open value and greeks.

  2. Filter by status

Live · Waiting · Error · Paused · Exited pills filter the cards; the Status mix ring counts them.

  3. Read a card

Name, DNO, the LIVE · broker or PAPER chip, status, legs with LTP and P&L. Gross, matching the broker's trade book.

  4. Pause and Square off

Pause freezes everything and sends nothing. Square off closes the strategy's own broker-confirmed lots; the deployment stays for tomorrow.

  5. Every tool in ⋯

Edit Parameters (live), Execution Settings, Positions, Payoff & Risk, logs, Order Book. Delete sends nothing to close.

  6. Order Book

QUEUED → PLACING → OPEN → DONE, or FAILED / CANCELLED. "Market" on Indian brokers is a protective limit that walks from 2% up to a 20% cap.

  7. Open Positions and the Desk ⇆ Broker Check

Positions net every strategy's legs. With a broker session active, the check lists only differences; Match sends no order.

Reports & Portfolio

  1. Books, periods, filters

Live Auto is the headline book; Live Offline and Paper stay separate. Day to All, segment, strategy, saved views.

  2. Export and hide amounts

PDF, CSV or Excel. The 👁 button blurs every amount before you share your screen.

  3. The headline numbers

Gross and net P&L, P&L per 1x, win rate, profit factor and max drawdown.

  4. Equity curve

The curve and the drawdown band for the book and period you picked.

  5. Calendar

Green and red days, each with its P&L.

  6. Strategies, breakdown, day patterns, risk

Per-strategy tables, breakdown by instrument, weekday patterns and risk, then Operations and Compare.

  7. Portfolio: your demat holdings

Read live from your broker: value, day P&L, unrealised and realised. View only, no order buttons.

  8. Holdings, per stock

How much of each stock sits in a LiveDesk strategy, plus Movers, Performance, Calendar, Allocation, Realised and Tax.

US desk

  1. Switch to the US desk

Click the IN pill in the top bar.

  2. Confirm Switch

LiveDesk reloads against the separate US desk: its own strategies, brokers, deployments and plans.

  3. Four tabs, ET clock, $

Dashboard · Deployed · My Strategies · Reports. Create Strategy and Portfolio are India-desk only.

  4. Paper or live on Tradier

Paper is free: 1 US paper strategy at a time, 3 once Tradier is connected. Live Auto needs a US plan; an India plan grants nothing here.

  5. Account menu › Brokers

Brokers lives in the menu under your email chip, with Settings, Subscription and Plans.

  6. No static IP here

US brokers do not need one. + Add Broker offers Tradier only.

  7. Connect Tradier

API token (production Bearer) and account number, then Save. Session 09:30 to 16:00 ET; intraday square-off at 15:58 ET.
